Propiedades psicométricas de los cuestionarios EDD y EPD para evaluar el estilo de planificación y decisión de los entrenadores

Abstract

The aim of this study was to create and to validate two scales that ascertain coaches planing and decisión making styles. Two scales were applied one for decision-making style and the other for planning styles to 334 handball coaches: 289 men and 44 women. The exploratory factorial analyses and Cronbachs alpha coefficients demonstrated that both scales had several appropriate psychometric properties (a>.70). Planning and decision-making were found to be related, as were relationships among authoritarian, democratic and permissive decision-making profiles and rigid, flexible and improvisational planning profiles, respectively.
